Citroen Racing, the team that supplies Sebastian Loeb with the WRC version of the Citroen Ds3, has revealed its pride after the racer recently secured the manufacturer's title.
A win for Loeb at the Rally de Espana last weekend clinched the title for the French firm and placed the racer in pole position to lift the driver's crown ahead of the season finale in Wales.
Olivier Quesnel, the firm's team principal, said that Citroen's dominance in recent years is the result of hard work from all members of the team.
"Today, we're very proud of our World Championship title, the fourth in succession for Citron. It's the result of consistent work by a calm and humble team. We've stuck together through the hard times. We've won ten out of the twelve rallies held so far, which is a pretty good score."
The team's boss added that the firm's success is not just down to Leob's performances and has praise for his team mates.
"Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia should also be associated with this result, as they had a great season despite their retirement this weekend," he added.
The season finale will take place in Cardiff from November 10th to 13th.
