Citroen Ds3 driver Sebastien Loeb will attempt to lift the WRC crown in Wales over the November 10th to 13th weekend in what organisers have billed as "one of the most challenging events of the year".
The race ace will go head-to-head with Finland's Mikko Hirvonen in the final stage of the year to decide who will be crowned FIA World Rally Champion for 2011.
Simon Long, chief executive officer of WRC promoter North One Sport, said the situation will provide a fitting end to what has been a rollercoaster season for rally fans across the world.
"It's going to be a thrilling and nail-biting end to what's been a very dramatic first season for the dynamic new-look WRC with the latest technical regulations and live TV 'power stages'," he commented.
"Now we're all set for a thrilling finale in the notoriously tricky and treacherous Welsh forests."
The expert also claimed that the return of MINI to its home ground will add an extra layer of intrigue to the season finale.
