British drivers in the market for a new car could be tempted into buying a used SEAT after the Spanish firm boasted a recent sales surge.
The company said that is currently on something of a "hot streak" as the past year has seen a number of its sales records tumble.
New figures show that while SEAT's new line-up has caused a stir among British drivers, its used models are also enjoying record sales.
The firm has indeed shifted 1,300 more used cars in 2011 that it had done by the same point last year.
David Ardern, SEAT UK's used car sales manager, commented: "SEAT's network of dealers across the country is hungry for late model, low mileage vehicles as it knows the buyers are out there.
"Ibiza, Leon and Exeo are all doing exceptionally well in the used market, while our various Ecomotive-branded cars continue to interest buyers who value miles per gallon as highly as they do miles per hour."
Meanwhile, SEAT recently announced that the hugely-popular SEAT Ibiza will be used for its Young Driver programme, which now offers lessons to wheelchair users.
