A next generation SEAT Toledo will make its grand return, this time in concept form, at the Geneva Motor Show.
The five-door hatchback aims to show a revolutionary design and is made to look like a saloon car with a sporty edge, only with plenty of extra space.
In the words of the carmaker, the concept car shows the "exceptional combination of emotion, outstanding design quality and rational usability".
It has a storage capacity of more than 500 litres and is 4.48 metres in length for easy city driving, showing that it has the silhouette of a coupe but the functionality and space of an estate.
"With the Toledo Concept, we are offering a very clear view of the next generation of our mid-range car," explained Dr Matthias Rabe, SEAT vice-president for research and development.
"The new Toledo will be a true SEAT - perfect for the demands of everyday life, with the highest levels of quality and reliability."
He noted that when it is released the model will use state-of-the-art technologies to bring increased efficiency and safety.
