The remaining teams in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy have learned their fate in the Round of 16 draw as the road to Wembley continues.
Having knocked out Fleetwood Town in the Round of 32, Derby County are rewarded with a home tie against Bradford, who were the big winners in the Northern Section teams following a comprehensive success against Liverpool U21s.
Blackpool will face off against Burton Albion at Bloomfield Road, with the winners of the postponed tie between Accrington Stanley and Lincoln City going up against the reigning champions Bolton Wanderers.
Doncaster Rovers against Wigan Athletic rounds out the Northern Section draw.
In the Southern Section, Peterborough United’s reward for knocking out Arsenal’s youngsters is a home tie with Crawley, whilst Brighton and Hove Albion U21s will be at home to Reading – who needed penalties to see off the challenge of Charlton in the previous round.
Having knocked out Fulham’s U21 side in the Round of 32, Wycombe Wanderers will face academy opposition once again in the shape of West Ham U21s whilst the winners of the yet-to-be played tie between Portsmouth and Wimbledon will get a home tie against Oxford.
Round of 16 ties will take place on the week beginning 8 January, with this marking the final stage at which teams can only face off against rivals from their own region.
