Renault Twizy hits UK showrooms
The innovative Renault Twizy, which the French carmaker describes as the "world's most unique production vehicle", is now available in UK showrooms.
DJ David Guetta was unveiled as an ambassador for the two-seater compact earlier this year and Renault is expecting high demand for the model, which will be priced from £6,690 on-the-road.
In order to mark the launch, Renault's marketing team has unveiled some new adverts featuring Guetta and wife Cathy as part of its global ambassador programme.
Renault fans can choose from three trim levels when opting for the Twizy, with Urban, Colour and Technic offering varied driving experiences.
"The jaw-dropping Twizys are now available for test drives around the UK, primarily at dealers with larger suburban and urban populations, in keeping with the car's likely target customers and driving usage," Renault explained.
Renault also announced that a lower-powered version of the Twizy, which would be available to 16-year-old drivers, will be heading to the UK in 2013.
