The 2012 AirAsia Renault Clio Cup is set to be every bit as "exhilarating" as last year's.
That is according to the event's organisers, who have claimed that a number of new drivers will make the contest tougher to win this time round.
Many new teams and drivers have been confirmed already, with Luke Wright set to return to the series accompanied by Mini Challenge convert Finlay Crocker.
Scottish Mini Cooper Cup champion Vic Covey Junior and former Scottish Legends racer Ronnie Clos are also set to compete.
Outlining the system for this year's cup, a spokesman confirmed: "Outright pole position collects a £100 award and Driver of the Weekend receives a bonus of £200.
"For the overall winners, the champion will be awarded £1,000 prize money and a fantastic Renault Megane test at Motorland in Spain. The Qualifier of the Year doesn't miss out either, receiving a CERTINA watch."
