The final production model of the exquisite Alfa Romeo 4C has been detailed, ahead of the vehicle's public debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Critics in the motoring industry have certainly already been impressed with the 4C – at least in concept form.
In fact, the prototype model has been the recipient of such prestigious accolades as Germany's AutoBild Design Award, Italy's Design Award for Concept Cars & Prototypes and UK-based publication What Car?'s Most Exciting Car of 2013.
This high level of success has led to Alfa Romeo finally deciding to put the 4C into production, with the final version of the vehicle being styled as a mid-engined rear-wheel drive coupe.
Furthermore, drivers who head behind the wheel of the flash Alfa Romeo 4C will feel as though they have stepped into a powerful sports car.
This is thanks in part to the addition of two bucket seats which would fit right into a track-day vehicle, on top of the fact that Alfa Romeo has blended magnificent performance, Italy's admirable sense of style and technical excellence, which is unmatched, into one glorious machine.
On the topic of style, it has to be highlighted how Alfa Romeo 4C's upholstery is completely decked out in carbon fibre, which immediately enables the car's cabin to stand out to anyone who claps their eyes upon it.
Motorists who love to tap into the need for speed should also make note of the four-cylinder 1750 Turbo Petrol engine that is hiding under the Alfa Romeo 4C's bonnet.
An enhanced version of a motor already being used in the aggressive Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde, the unit is set to boast up to 240bhp and the ability to take the 4C from 0-62mph in close to 4.5 seconds.
The Alfa Romeo 4C receives its world premiere at the 83rd International Motor Show in Geneva, which is open to the public between March 7th and 17th, before being launched across the UK in the early months of 2014.
