The 2013 British Touring Car (BTCC) champion Andrew Jordan is set to return to the sport he started 11 years ago, joining the Peugeot 208 WRX team for the British round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship.
Joining official team drivers Timmy Hansen #21 and Davy Jeanney as the third pilot and a wildcard for the event, Jordan will tackle the Lydden Hill track for the second year running.
Taking third place at the circuit last year, Jordan feels at home at the Kent circuit and his experience and expertise will be a great asset in the World Championship quest of the Team Peugeot-Hansen.
Last week Andrew Jordan was invited by the team to Dreux, France for a day of testing with all the members of the French/Swedish Team.
He said: "The Peugeot 208 felt incredible and I am excited to be given this opportunity to race in the FIA World Rallycross Championship again this year with such a great team."
Jordan, fresh from a weekend of racing in the BTCC at Thruxton, will now turn his attention to the intense and exciting racing of the FIA World Rallycross Championship.
