DS kicks off its 60th anniversary celebrations with Arsenal Football Club.
Arsenal stars Laurent Koscielny, Mathieu Flamini, David Ospina and Theo Walcott pay homage to the iconic DS by taking part in an exclusive photoshoot, which pays homage to the brand's past.
In the photographs, an original 1961 ID19 DS appears alongside a modern day DS 5, while the group of Arsenal players model replica 1955 football kits - representing the brand's modern day values of innovation and design.
The football aces embraced their club's heritage by posing in the iconic red and white kit that their legendary predecessors would have worn 60 years ago in 1955. In this same year, the original DS was launched at the Paris Motor Show, marking the arrival of what would become an icon of automotive design and engineering.
The original DS was produced between 1955 and 1975, with a total production run of 1,456,115 cars. Since the launch of DS 3 in 2010, the DS brand has already sold over 500,000 models worldwide.
DS Brand Director in the UK, Bekir Hassan said: "2015 will be a full year of celebrations as we mark the 60th anniversary of the original DS. Whilst we pay tribute to our illustrious past, it's great to see the Arsenal team getting into the spirit too and sporting retro kits from the era."
