Citroen has confirmed that the DS3 remains its bestselling model in the UK, with more than 10,000 sold in the country in the first seven months of 2012.
According to the French car manufacturer, it has registered a 66.8 per cent increase on the 6,118 DS3's delivered during the same period last year, with more than 27,000 DS3’s being sold in Britain since the car’s launch in 2010.
The company is now hoping to enhance awareness of its other models and continue the success registered so far this year.
As the new September registration approaches, Citroen noted that demand is already high for the DS3, and as a result it is set to launch a range of offers to attract even more new car buyers.
According to the company, the main emphasis is set to be placed on the C1, the C3, the C£ Picasso, the Berlingo Multispace, the C4, the C4 Picasso, the DS4 and the DS5.
