A new interactive video has been released which allows viewers to virtually drive the all-new 5.0-litre V8 Ford Mustang Fastback as it speeds around Silverstone.
Whilst watching the video, viewers can rotate the vantage point from inside the Mustang by using the mouse or curser, and also switch to the view from a helicopter hovering above the track or a front bumper camera.
Interactive gauges and displays show the Mustang's speed, position on the track and RPM, which all contribute to the viewers virtual racing experience.
The lap was filmed whilst professional driver Paul Swift was at the wheel on the 3.67mile track.
The stunt driver is a seven-time British Motorsport champion, multiple Guinness World Record Holder and is known for his multiple appearances on BBC's Top Gear.
The footage for the film was captured in just one day using six GoPro cameras inside the car, one mounted on the bumper and a drone.
Mark Truby the vice president of Communications and Public Affairs at Ford of Europe commented: "We wanted everyone to be able to experience a Mustang V8 at high speed on a great track. What makes this video unique is that the viewer is in complete control of the vantage point. They can view in any direction just as if they were in the cockpit of the Mustang, switch to drone view, check speed and RPM. It's totally immersive."
The all-new Ford Mustang is now on sale in the UK for the first time in the car's 50-year history, in both fastback or convertible form. The 5.0-litre Mustang delivers 421PS and 530Nm of torque, whilst a 2.3-litre EcoBoost version that delivers 317PS and 432Nm of torque is also available.
