Fiat has released details of its upcoming 500byGucci model, which will reach the UK this year.
Produced in collaboration with acclaimed fashion designer Gucci, the car will be available with a choice of two engines - the economical 1.2 litre and the award-winning 0.9 litre TwinAir, the latter of which was named International Engine of the Year 2011 earlier this week.
According to the manufacturer, the model will initially only be available for purchase online, with registered users given updates about when it will begin shipping.
Motorists can place deposits for the Fiat 500byGucci and tracks its progress now.
Elena Bernardelli, marketing director at Fiat, said: "The 500byGucci will enlarge the audience for the already successful Fiat 500, reaching those fashionista customers who want to have a unique car to distinguish themselves."
She added that selling the car online will create "an even greater sense of exclusivity and exceptional customer service".
Fiat recently announced an advertising campaign to back the launch of the 500byGucci, featuring Russian model Natasha Poly.
