The Ford Fiesta continues to be the most popular car made by the US brand among UK customers, while the Focus and Transit van are also some of Britain's favourite rides.
In a release published by the carmaker yesterday (July 6th), it was announced that there were more Ford models on the road this June than there were at the same point in 2010, with an extra 745 customers snapping up the motors last month.
What's more, old favourite the Ford Transit had its reputation as Britain's most-loved van confirmed once again as it was found to be the best-selling commercial vehicle in the UK for the 46th year in a row.
Managing director at Ford of Britain Nigel Sharp said the firm's success "underlines both the benefit of our strong dealer network and our best-ever vehicle range".
The Ford Fiesta may be able to climb to the top of the brand's most popular cars list soon, as the firm recently ploughed £60 million into robotic laser technology, which it says it will use to reduce wind noise in the model.
