Other than a completely new design, the biggest change with the New Ford Capri is its powertrain. Ditching the internal combustion engines of old, the new Ford Capri is a fully electric vehicle, offering up to 390 miles (WLTP).
You can choose from a 52kWh, 77kWh, or 79kWh battery, with each offering varying levels of range and performance. The standard 52kWh battery offers 168bhp, whereas the extended 77kWh and 79kWh versions offer 282bhp and 335bhp.
Charging the new Capri will be both quick and easy, with a maximum charging speed of 185kW. This will allow you to top up from 10-80% in just 26 minutes, when driving the Extended-Range AWD model.
With AWD versions, you can enjoy greater control in varying weather conditions. Not to mention speedy performance, with a 0-62mph time of 6.4 seconds achieved during testing.
