Eco conscious motorists looking to get behind the wheel of a new car could be tempted by the new Hyundai i10.
That is after one industry commentator highlighted its credentials as a decent value-for-money run-around.
Writing for motoring.co.uk, Geraldine Ashton Green described the model as an "attractively-priced, well-equipped and nimble" car.
While the i1o Blue is currently the only five-seater on the market for under £10,000, customers can expect a number of luxuries and extra features.
Those getting behind the i10's wheel will benefit from low rolling resistance tyres, and Hyundai's ISG stop-start system.
The main selling point, however, is the Eco Drive indicator, which lets drivers know when is the most efficient time to change gear.
"The Hyundai i10 Hatchback is attractively priced, well equipped and nimble around town, all models get air conditioning, four electric windows, power steering, central locking, tinted glass, four airbags and a six speaker CD/radio stereo plus a connection for iPod and non-Apple MP3 players," Ms Ashton Green explained.
