Jamie Carragher's Soccer School played a blinder when it chose two Citroen Berlingo vans to help its work promoting football skills and vocational courses aimed at 16 to 19 year olds. Ex-Liverpool FC and England footballer Jamie Carragher accepted the keys for the two vans.
The two Citroen Berlingo HDi 75 L1 625 manual Enterprise vans have been supplied in factory-finished Black paint and will be used to support the work of the soccer academy. The vans, the first Citrons in the Jamie Carragher Soccer School fleet, have been acquired on 2 year/80,000 mile Citroen Contract Motoring contract hire agreements.
In addition to the Berlingo's comprehensive standard specification, the range-topping Enterprise adds comfort, connectivity and safety features, such as air conditioning, a Connecting box and rear parking sensors.
James Olsen, Academy Director of Jamie Carragher's Soccer School, commented: "Our new Citroen vans will support the training of 16 to 19 year olds who want to take up coaching or work in the sports industry. These Citroen vans will supply Premier League service in terms of low whole-life costs, great flexibility and reliability. This was such an important purchase for us that Jamie went in person to collect the keys."
The Jamie Carragher Soccer School aims to train and develop its students as football coaches. Following the completion of a BTEC course, the students go on work experience placements with the Jamie Carragher Soccer School, which operates in 80 primary schools across Merseyside. Selected students will also have the opportunity of work experience abroad, with soccer camps in New York, Norway and Denmark.
