A new limited edition of the Ford Transit has been unveiled as the latest celebration marking the centenary of Ford of Britain.
Just 180 special Ford Transit SportVan models will be released, featuring unique paintwork of Moondust Silver with graphite bonnet stripes 'Le Mans style'.
The van also has twin exhausts, 18-inch graphite colour alloy wheels, front and rear lower spoilers and extended wheel arches.
It is based on the popular Transit SportVan, which has now reached more than 40,000 sales this year alone, a figure that Ford of Britain's marketing director, Anthony Ireson calls "exceptional".
"This SportVan gives customers the chance to own a really special Transit," he added.
It is the seventh SportVan in the range since the model was first created for commercial vehicle drivers in 2007. They have all been released in limited numbers and have all sold out.
Ford is marking 100 years of vehicle manufacturing in the UK throughout 2011 by releasing limited edition models and holding historical displays at motoring events and the UK's motoring museums.
