Sebastien Loeb gave his chances of lifting the WRC title a huge boost at the Rally de Espana over the weekend.
A win for the driver made him the leading stage winner in WRC history, secured the manufacturer's title for Citroen and put him in pole position going into the season finale in Wales.
Loeb went into the Spanish event level on points with Mikko Hirvonen but his efforts over the weekend means he does not have to win in Wales to secure the crown.
However, the Citroen Ds3 driver claims he will not be taking it easy.
"If Mikko's winning the rally I have to be second with some good points from the Power Stage. For sure I will try to fight with him and not to be behind him. It's a very open situation for the title and it's not easy," he commented.
"We know it can be very difficult so we will see what happens. It will be interesting but everything is possible because the rally is very long and anything can happen."
