British-based Mazda tuner BBR has released an engine upgrade for the Mazda MX-5, which aims to give the car some extra muscle.
The MX-5 has been popular for many years due to the sporty spirit that it gives to anyone who steps behind the car's steering wheel.
However, the Japanese car manufacturer's iconic roadster has long been lacking when it comes to the amount of muscle it shows off while on the road.
BBR has looked to sort out this problem with the release of the Super 180 engine upgrade, which can be fitted to any Mk3/3.5 MX-5 that was produced after 2005.
Once installed onto the roadster's 2.0-litre engine, drivers will be able to see their MX-5's power boosted from 158bhp to 179.8bhp.
Maximum torque of the car has also been enhanced by 20lb per ft to now be recorded at 159lb per ft.
Other features of the Super 180 engine upgrade include the device being designed with a BBR stainless steel rear silencer and a high flow BBR performance panel air filter.
