Ford is partnering up with European action sports and entertainment event ARENACROSS, to display the new Ford Ranger at events across Britain.
The new Ranger, which debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show, will start from £18,571 for the XL Super Cab. Other trim levels are also available, with the £21,171 XLT, £23,271 Limited and the Wildtrack at £26,171.
ARENACROSS will explode into life this weekend on Saturday 17th October outside Wembley Stadium with an 'Action Tour', featuring its exhilarating Motocross demonstrations.
Ford's Ranger will be amongst the ARENACROSS action throughout October, promoting the main tour in January next year. Those unable to reach Wembley can soak up the action at George Square in Glasgow on the 24th, Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester on the 25th, and Birmingham's Centenary Square on the 31st.
Three Rangers will also be supplied by Ford transport vital show equipment when ARENACROSS begins next year.
The 2016 Ranger is the most fuel-efficient the model has ever been, delivering reductions in fuel consumption of up to 17 per cent.
Furthermore, Ford's 3.2-litre TDCi 200hp six-speed auto power-train will be offered for the first time on the Limited Series, starting at £25,721.
A generous amount of equipment has also been made available, with EPAS fitted as standard, and options including Auto-Start-Stop (on manual vehicles), voice-activated SYNC2 connectivity system complete with eight-inch touchscreen, adaptive cruise control and front and rear parking assistance.
Ford of Britain's marketing director, Lisa Branklin, said: 'Its (Ranger's) class-leading towing ability and expansive load space make it the perfect choice for Motocross enthusiasts. With the new Ranger arriving in dealerships at the start of 2016, we are delighted to be able to demonstrate its capabilities at ARENACROSS.'
The 2016 ARENACROSS tour starts January 2nd, at Manchester Arena.
