The ninth generation Honda Civic will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, it has been announced.
Those looking forward to the launch will notice the new model has been developed to be both aesthetically pleasing and economic with space.
According to the Japanese manufacturer, the car will boast "stand-out looks and class-leading space for passenger and luggage", while maintaining the Civic's, and indeed Honda's, reputation for reliability and low running costs.
"Our engineers concentrated a huge amount of time and effort improving ride quality and handling of the Civic and through significant changes to the suspension set-up they have enhanced both comfort and body control," the firm explained.
"To give customers the biggest cabin and boot space in the C-sector, the Civic retains a rear torsion beam suspension system – but the latest set-up uses clever fluid-filled compliance bushes to improve overall ride performance and handling."
The news comes shortly after Honda announced a more aggressive restyled version of its popular CR-V model.
