Hyundai has unveiled the first pictures of the new i20 which will make its world debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
The popularity of the original i20 has made it one of the company's best-selling cars with almost one million sold since its launch in 2002.
The new generation i20 has class-leading interior space, a host of the highest tech and comfort-enhancing features all encapsulated in a refined design.
The new model has a longer wheelbase, providing customers with one of the most spacious cabins in the segment. Five adults can sit comfortably in the car with a combined front and rear legroom that is best in class.
Boot capacity is also segment leading with 326-litres of space when the rear seats are upright.
Enhancing the comfort and the sense of space for driver and passengers is a panoramic sunroof like no-other in its class - able to both tilt and fully open, it fills the cabin with natural light and fresh air.
Further features add to the refinement and convenience of the new i20, including integrated rear-view camera and front and rear LED lighting.
The front end has also been altered, the hexagonal grille has been lowered and a thin, horizontal grille connects the front headlamp clusters, which include bi-function projection headlamps, LED daytime running lights and LED positioning lamps.
The public world premiere of the i20 will take place during Hyundai's press conference at the Paris Motor Show on Thursday, October 2.
