The new, all-electric SUV will be touring 86 retailers across the UK, giving customers a first look ahead of its release.
Hyundai’s electric car family has welcomed a new member – the Hyundai INSTER. Announced earlier this year in June, the INSTER is a sub-compact SUV making it the smallest in the range.
Soon, UK motorists will be given the chance to see it up close as it begins a national roadshow starting in October. Read on for the latest.
The new Hyundai INSTER may be small, but it has a lot to offer. Its exterior is functional yet fun, with features like bold wheel arches, distinctive LED lights, and a higher ride height.
It comes with practical 17” wheels, with a cross-style design for a dynamic look. A palette of stylish, earthy colours also helps make it your own – from Buttercream Yellow Pearl to Natural Ivory.
Inside, the Hyundai INSTER features a Newtro Beige + Khaki Brown interior. Seat up to four people comfortably or use the versatile set-up to create more space. All seats can be folded flat, while the second-row seats offer a 50/50 split for sliding and reclining.
At the rear, there’s up to 280 litres of boot space as standard with the rear seats up. When folded, this increases the capacity to 1,059 litres, bringing you more space for larger items or luggage.
As for technology, the new Hyundai INSTER offers the latest features to enhance your drive. The driver’s cabin is simple yet smart, with a 10.25” digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen.
Wireless charging is built into the centre console, and Hyundai Smart Sense brings you access to a range of driver assistance systems. These include:
Equipped with either a 42kWh standard or Long Range 49kWh battery and an electric motor, the Hyundai INSTER offers up to 220 miles (WLTP) range. With zero tailpipe emissions and smooth, instant torque, it makes the perfect sustainable, urban SUV.
The all-electric SUV was unveiled at the Busan International Mobility Show in Korea earlier this year. This October, the Hyundai INSTER will make its official UK debut, visiting 86 Hyundai retailers in a national roadshow.
The show will allow customers to see the new Hyundai model for the first time, showing them what to expect before it goes on sale later this year.
Ashley Andrew, President of Hyundai & Genesis UK, said:
“The INSTER will be the most compact member of the Hyundai electric vehicle family and proves that good things really do come in small packages. Its exceptional capabilities and advanced equipment will challenge expectations of what a small EV can deliver, and we have been hugely encouraged by the interest it has generated in the UK since it was revealed.
Customers recognise Hyundai’s pedigree in electrification, with the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 both winning World Car of The Year in recent years and are keen to know more about the INSTER. This exciting British roadshow will allow them to see for themselves what a desirable and innovative vehicle the INSTER is.”
The INSTER roadshow will be visiting three Bristol Street Motors dealerships on the following dates:
