Vauxhall's new Insignia VXR SuperSport has maintained its reputation as one of the fastest affordable cars available, with the vehicle reaching a top speed of 170mph.
Set to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show between September 12th-22nd, the car has had a range of new design changes.
Available as both a Hatch and a Sports Tourer, the vehicles now have a re-styled front and rear, including a new distinct 'saber-tooth' detail on the front.
This aspect in particular does give the car that much more of an edge - something fitting for a vehicle that is known for its speed.
According to Vauxhall, the car's all-wheel-drive chassis has been improved, with 60 per cent of the rear suspension witnessing new additions.
However, the saloon car still remains just that, and has emphasised this definition following a fine-tuning of the Noise Vibration Harshness.
Drivers will also welcome changes to the centre console design, which now features Bluetooth-operated internet connectivity, and 8-inch touchscreen, 3D navigation and voice control, with all vehicles including a DAB radio as standard.
