Jeep has released a television advert for its updated Cherokee which shows an exciting sequence of landscapes observed through the SUV's grille.
'From mud, to sand, from water to tarmac,' is the focus of the new Jeep Cherokee advert, which has been created by creative agency Leo Burnett and directed by Ago Panini.
The advert showcases the diversity of the cutting-edge car, which remains true to Jeep design. Through the traditional seven-slot grille, the viewer experiences a series of wild landscapes and metropolitan scenes, each of which represents one of the seven continents.
The Cherokee, which boasts five Euro NCAP stars, has recently received a number of upgrades including an all-new 2.2 MultiJet II engine with outputs of either 185hp or 200hp which joins the pre-existing two-litre diesel 140hp manual units.
Made in the Pratola Serra Plant in Italy, the new 200hp engine boasts impressive specs. A top speed of 127mph is achievable, whilst acceleration from 0 62 takes only 8.7 seconds.
The Euro6 compliant engine has a combined fuel consumption of 49.6mpg and CO2 emissions of 160g/km.
