Nissan Qashqai 360-degree camera makes parking easier
Nissan Qashqai's state of the art 360-degree camera technology will help cut company car driver induced parking mistakes, according to the Japanese automobile manufacturer.
The Around View Monitor (AVW) system that effectively gives the driver the most comprehensive view possible, with four separate wide-angled cameras positioned strategically around the exterior of the car.
Images are then fed into Nissan Connect touch-screen monitor, allowing motorists to gauge how successful their manoeuvring is.
Using the images as an accurate reference point, drivers are able to calmly and confidently position vehicles into tight spots without having to worrying about expensive collisions.
"The figures quoted by Accident Exchange speak for themselves and show that even a low speed incident can cost fleets both financially as well as the inconvenience of fleet downtime," commented Jon Pollock, corporate sales director at Nissan.
"The Qashqai 360 is full of leading technology as standard and AVM helps fleets reduce their collision costs and helps keep control on the fleet’s purse strings."
