Nissan is the latest car manufacturer to return to the C-segment, with a fantastic new model called Pulsar.
The five-door hatchback, which was originally produced between 1978 and 2000, is described by Nissan as being a "progressive car" and the "ultimate fusion of style, performance and value".
Set to go on sale this autumn, the vehicle's aesthetic exudes a sporty sensibility with a "statement rear spoiler", LED stop lamps, razor indicator lights and sophisticated front fog lights that reduce glare and illuminate the road ahead.
The Pulsar is also defined by a 1.8 4-cylinder engine that is the latest in "automotive technology", delivering a superb 96kW of power and 174Nm of torque.
"Complementing the engine is the optional next-generation Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission for smooth, responsive acceleration with no loss of power," Nissan states.
"Add to that standout fuel economy of just 6.7 litres per 100km and you’re on a winner."
A spacious hatchback, the car has a 60/40 split fold, allowing drivers a range of options when it comes to transporting people and belongings.
Finally, the dashboard has been designed to offer motorists up-to-date and easy to view data on fuel consumption, driving range and the outside temperature.
