You'd think the new Nissan Qashqai didn't need anything else said about it. Having picked up multiple accolades since it was revealed, including the What Car? Car of the Year title, the Qashqai has already made a name for itself.
However, if you were ever in doubt about what the car offers and what it can achieve, Nissan has been busy making sure that everyone knows everything about the Qashqai ahead of its February 1st release.
The 2014 model follows on from the successful 2007 version and marks a further reinvention of the crossover vehicle market. It offers C-segment drivers more style, technology and excitement than its competitors, as well as offering impressive efficiency.
It is even safer than its predecessor too, featuring a range of new technologies for the benefit of both driver and passenger.
These include forward emergency braking, driver attention alert, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, moving object detection and high beam assist.
Furthermore, parking assist technology ensures the car can squeeze into the tightest of urban spaces without causing high levels of stress to the driver. Powerful LED headlights also give the driver optimum vision when driving in the dark.
The Qashqai powertrain range is also a huge boost for customers, with the innovative engines providing minimal emissions for a vehicle of its kind. It has class-leading CO2 emissions of just 99g/km, while still delivering quality performance.
On the inside, comfort and space is increased, while there is even more luggage capacity than ever before. A variable floor system can enhance this even further.
Those inside the car will also benefit from the NissanConnect system - the manufacturer's in-built infotainment feature.
A seven-inch touchscreen offers simple transfer between information and entertainment while on the road, while the car can also be connected to smartphones.
With the all-new Qashqai set to hit the showrooms and forecourts in the coming weeks, soon you'll be able to find out the reasons for all the hype.
