The 7-seater SUV has been a firm favourite with many UK drivers, especially families. It delivers an exceptional performance, features ample space and it’s super practical for inner city driving as well as tackling further afield.
But what changes have been made to the new version?
Let’s take a look at some of the new design features.
The most striking feature of the New Peugeot 5008 is the updated front grille. Also appearing on the New 3008, the frameless grille sweeps across, complementing the piercing new headlamps for a domineering look.
All trim levels will feature LED light technology, whilst the top of the range GT and GT Premium models will also include a new Fog Mode function to replace the traditional fog lights.
There will also be two new colour options for drivers to pick from – Celebes Blue and Metallic Copper – to really make the new 5008 stand out even more.
The New Peugeot 5008 also sports a new and improved interior, featuring the next-generation digital i-Cockpit, which includes a fully customisable 12.3-inch digital instrument display, a compact steering wheel for improved driving dynamics and a new 10-inch high-definition colour touchscreen.
Fully customisable, drivers can select the important features they want to access on the digital touchscreen, from navigation settings to vehicle information, to make the whole experience for the driver easier and more convenient.
Each trim level comes kitted out with the very best, high-quality materials to enhance comfort. For instance, the Allure and Allure Premium features new leather effect and textile ‘Colyn’ upholstery, whilst the GT and GT Premium includes new Red Nappa Leather upholstery. These higher spec trim levels also feature a frameless rear-view mirror for a real luxury touch.
Peugeot has created a class-leading vehicle when it comes to technology. The New 5008 is jam-packed with the latest technology and driver aid systems to make every journey safer.
For the first time, the 5008 is available with Night Vision, which is a unique feature in its segment, utilising infrared technology to detect hazards up to 200m outside the scope of the headlights.
Other technology features include, Adaptive Cruise Control, Driver Warning Alert, Hill Assist Decent Control and Park Assist, making this 5008 one of the most intelligent in its class.
Available as a petrol or diesel vehicle, it won’t be long until order books open, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the announcement!
