Peugeot celebrates technological advances in film-making

Peugeot has launched a new advertising campaign that celebrates the creative and technological leaps and bounds film-making has made over the years.
 
The move coincides with the manufacturer's sponsorship of Sky Movies and features eight idents created by Havas Worldwide London and directed by Ivan Bird.
 
In the clips Mr Bird aimed to blur gap between the film world and the filmed world and the Peugeot harnesses both in each of the shoots.
 
Each ident displays a ground-breaking piece of film-making equipment, cutting between it and footage that the device has shot. For example, one of the clips looks at the Octocopter camera, which there is only four of in existence.
 
"The sponsorship of Sky Movies provides Peugeot with an excellent opportunity to showcase our passion-driven mentality through the craft of film making," said Nick Crossley, manager brand advertising, partnerships and sponsorship at Peugeot.
 
"By including our definitional models we are able to give the public a taste of what Peugeot has to offer in a very premium and innovative way."
