Peugeot has been demonstrating the excellent Grip Control of the 2008 Crossover at a launch event for the UK media at the Snowdome in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
The vehicle showed off its excellent traction in one of the best ways imaginable – driving up and down an indoor ski slope.
It took on the 170-metre Snowdome, which has an average gradient of 27 degrees, with ease utilising the Grip Control, while without the feature it could only manage a few metres.
Drivers could even perform an emergency stop while descending the slope, showing how the advanced traction system can also bring the vehicle to a quick halt.
Grip Control works on the 2008 Crossover's two front wheels, ensuring drivers have utmost confidence and safety. In standard mode, the technology prevents skidding on normal road conditions, while there are other options for snow, off-road and sand.
The Peugeot 2008 Crossover with Grip Control is available for £16,195 on-the-road, while the range as a whole begins at £12,995.
