In a vote run by fan engagement experts, Snack Media, the Pompey stopper won with 34% of the vote for February, with Oxford United’s Matty Taylor taking second place.
In the third of five divisional votes carried out over eleven days via Snack’s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and press, it was clear that the goalkeeper’s strong performances last month – keeping four clean sheets - has resonated not just with Portsmouth fans, but with supporters of all teams.
