The Retromobile Show in Paris will see a number of classic and vintage cars on display for the benefit of visitors and experts alike.
It will also see French manufacturer Renault celebrating three special anniversaries, including the Renault Type AG1 celebrating 100 years since it was commissioned by the French Army to transport wartime troops to the front of the First Battle of the Marne.
Another milestone is the 50th anniversary of the Renault 8 Gordini being released, while the 30th anniversary of the ground-breaking Renault Espace rounds off the company's milestones.
Focussing on the Espace particularly, Renault will be displaying four generations of the impressive MPV, in addition to four project versions of the car.
It begins with the Espace I, the first model ever presented to the media. Displayed in April 1984, the model surprised onlookers with its versatility. It was powered by a V6 engine mated to an automatic transmission, cementing its place in the high end market.
Years later, it comes to the most recent variation of the model: the current-generation Espace IV.
First released in 2002, the model was innovative in that its bodywork was made from steel rather than composite materials.
Also on show is the Renault Espace F1 from 1994, a version of the car designed by the Williams-Renault team to mark the third constructor's crown earned in the 1994 Formula One World Championship.
