Renault has announced the creation of a new, limited edition Lounge version of its popular Scenic and Grand Scenic models, with the latest iteration focused on providing for the needs of families.
The limited edition model is based on the Scenic's ZEN equipment level, featuring a wide range of features, such as an in-dash R-Link multimedia tablet, a video system complete with screens built into the back of the front headrests, a reversing camera and front and rear parking assist.
Renault believes the Scenic Lounge and Grand Scenic Lounge are ideal for family journeys thanks to the addition of the Family Pack.
The feature comprises aviation-style folding tables for rear passengers, front and rear reading lights and under-seat drawers.
It also provides sun blinds, child surveillance mirror and a forward-tipping front seat for carrying large items.
Styling comes in the shape of 17-inch alloy wheels, side protective mouldings with chrome strips and stain-finish chrome grille trim, with the style continued in the cabin thanks to a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearstick knob.
Drivers choosing the limited edition Lounge models will have the choice of four engines to cover all types of use. The Energy TCe 130, Energy dCi 110, dCi 110 EDC and the Energy dCi 130 are all available for the new vehicles.
