A new concept car by French car giant Renault and Ross Lovegrove has been teased, with rumours swirling that the prototype will form the basis of the new Renault Twingo.
The vehicle manufacturer formally announced that the motor will be unveiled to the world at the Triennale of Milano event on April 8th.
A unique collaboration being undertaken by Renault and the Lovegrove Studio aimed “to explore new design languages”, the French car maker is confident that its concept vehicle will present “a new creation that underlines Renault’s Design strategy”.
Although very little else was officially revealed about this prototype car, both AutoCar and Auto Express have stated that the concept will form an early preview of the next-generation Renault Twingo.
In fact, those at Auto Express have pointed out that a vague teaser shot of the vehicle that has accompanied Renault’s announcement appears to show off a uniquely designed rear light and a sporty spoiler feature.
Drivers can expect to find out much more about what the Renault and Ross Lovegrove collaboration means for the motoring industry when the Triennale of Milano exhibition in Milan takes place between April 9th and 14th.
