Seat has announced the launch of an updated range of its popular Leon model.
The manufacturer has tweaked the sport FR+ models with the addition of a new FR+ trim level, Auto Express reported.
Under the changes, the 2.0-litre TDI and 2.0-litre TSI versions will now only be available as FR+ models.
Standard FR cars will also be available and will come in the shape of the 1.4-litre TSI of the 2.0-litre TDI.
The news provider claimed that despite boasting lower performance levels, the FR models still boast sporty styling.
"Visual changes over standard Leons include more aggressive front and rear bumpers, silver-painted door mirrors and LED rear lights. Standard kit includes sports seats, rear-parking sensors as well as automatic lights and wipers," the publication explained.
The news comes shortly after figures published by the SMMT showed that strong sales of the Seat Leon and Seat Ibiza helped the firm achieve its highest-ever market share last month.
