Drivers looking to respected awards as a hint when in the market for a new motor could be tempted to get behind the wheel of the new SEAT Alhambra.
The Spanish car maker recently celebrated seeing the model secure a second consecutive win in the coveted What Car? Car of the Year awards.
With 30 years of history the What Car? awards are one of the most respected ceremonies in the industry and the prize could spike demand for the Alhambra.
Chas Hallett, What Car? editor-in-chief, commented: "The Alhambra does what an MPV should: move up to seven adults in comfort. But it adds strong refinement, a keen price and low running costs, with up to 50 mpg.
"It's a very strong proposition for large families – a worthy MPV category winner, for the second year in a row."
Last year the Spanish manufacturer enjoyed unprecedented success, recording new car sales of 36,089.
