Sebastian Vettel marked the inaugural Indian Formula One Grand Prix with another first in a glittering season.
Having already been crowned champion and youngest back-to-back title winner, Vettel started on pole, led for the entire race and set the fastest lap.
This is the first time the German achieved all three feats and the racer is also on course to equal Michael Schumacher's 2004 record of 13 wins in a season.
Leading the entire race also saw Vettel eclipse Nigel Mansell's 1992 record for most laps led in a season, taking his total to 693 for the year.
However, despite seeing yet more records tumble, the German, whose Red Bull car is powered by a Renaultsport engine, said he will not be letting up before the end of the campaign.
"I think no one would give in just by himself. Always being the fastest is pretty much impossible, so you have to organise your race and pay a lot of attention to one tyre management," he said.
"For us it was important to show at the end of the first stint that we would still be able to push and that this would not be a chance for anybody to get us. In the second stint we took our time to see when Jenson was pitting to avoid making a mistake by coming in too early."
