Skoda supported the successful RideLondon 2015 event that took place over this past weekend.
The Czech automobile manufacturer provided organisers of the event with a 36-strong fleet of support cars, whilst a 25-strong Skoda UK team took part in the event.
RideLondon is an annual two-day festival of cycling and forms part of the Mayor and Transport for London's cycling program. Five different races took place over the weekend The FreeCycle, the Grand Prix, the Handcycle, the Classic and the London-Surrey. The latter is a legacy of the 2012 London Olympic games, with cyclists following the famed 100-mile route from London to Surrey.
Launched in 2013, the event is now in it's third year and had an expected attendance of over 100,000 competitors and spectators. Skoda has supported the event since the beginning, and this year they supplied race directors, judges, commissaries and media with models including the Octavia, Fabia, Yeti and the all-new Superb.
Skoda also provided a festival atmosphere at its marquee, with a cycle simulator, face painting and caricaturists.
Head of Marketing for Skoda UK, Andrew Cullis commented: "SKODA has a long-standing passion with cycling because we started out as a bicycle manufacturer in 1895. It's a passion and heritage that runs through the company today. RideLondon is an amazing event and we are delighted to play our part in its success."
