The All Important Numbers For The First Vertu Trophy Draw

After Rotherham United wrapped up top spot in Northern Group H in the final game of the group stage, the Round of 32 draw for the Vertu Trophy will take place this evening on Sky Sports News.

The draw will be the first since the competition was rebranded from the Bristol Street Motors Trophy and will feature 31 clubs from across League One and League Two, as well as the Aston Villa U21s; the only Academy side still remaining in the competition.

At this stage, the draw remains regionalised with those teams to have won their group being drawn against a runner-up from another group.

To ensure that takes place, both the Northern and Southern sections will be split in two for the draw, which has already thrown up the potential for some intriguing games in the the first knock-out phase of the competition.
