As Mazda celebrates the success of the third generation MX-5, it released this special 25th Anniversary version. As the brand's anniversary year comes to an end we decided to take a look at this very special edition.
Based on the Sport Tech Nav trim level MX-5, the 25th Anniversary edition features some exclusive additions. These are the two-tone red and black paint, gunmetal-coloured alloy wheels, and white leather seats. The fact only 750 were built to be sold in the UK also makes them very exclusive.
Being a roadster rather than the usual soft-top, the 25th Anniversary edition comes with an electric folding metal roof too. The anniversary model has the same 2.0-litre petrol engine we've seen in the MX-5 since this generation arrived back in 2005.
It has 157bhp, but those looking for fun with less power can also opt for the 124bhp 1.8-litre model - though it's only available in entry-level SE trim.
The 25th Anniversary edition has everything roadster-lovers are looking for. Heated seats, a powerful heater (with climate control) mean driving with the roof down on even the coldest days is possible, plus a stereo loud enough to hear over the wind gushing past.
If you're an MX-5 fan you will love this model, plus all it's fantastic extras.
