TopGear Magazine has been dishing out its annual awards, handing the Hyundai i10 the 'Bargain of the Year' title.
Reviewers at the publication were thrilled with the model's 'no-compromise' approach, saying the car delivers high levels of quality without the price tag.
The Hyundai sits in among a number of other expensive and exotic cars that claimed awards, but was more than worthy of taking its place among the other category winners.
Judges praised the excellent comfort and build of the vehicle, as well as the various gadgets the car provides at an affordable cost. Members of the magazine's editorial team voted unanimously for the model to pick up the title.
Piers Ward, road test editor for BBC TopGear Magazine, said: "The i10 absolutely delivers on the value-for-money premise. It is definitely not a car with the build quality of a biscuit tin. The fit and finish is excellent, it looks great and is comfortable and spacious and for these reasons it stood out as a worthy winner.”
President and chief executive of Hyundai Motor UK said the company is "absolutely delighted" with the award, adding that the i10 continues the success of its predecessor, delivering style in addition to safety, and space as well as value.
