The Vauxhall ADAM was noted for the quality of its build at the Automotive Interiors EXPO 2013, securing the trophy for the best interior design in a production car.
It fended off stiff competition from the likes of the Alfa Romeo 4C, Jaguar F-Type, Renault Clio and the new Range Rover to come away with the award, which was selected by a jury of motoring journalists.
"The individualisation of the interior is one of the ADAM's many outstanding traits. Our small lifestyle car offers almost 82,000 combinations for interior-styling. The EXPO AWARD is a wonderful tribute to the whole Opel/Vauxhall design team," said Elizabeth Witzel, interior design director for the ADAM.
The EXPO marks part of a trade show in Stuttgart, Germany where manufacturers look at different concepts, materials, surfaces, fabrics and components used in interior vehicle design.
Car buyers can get their hands on a Vauxhall ADAM from £11,255, coming with a Lifetime Warranty that is valid up to 100,000 miles.
