A Twitter interview with Vauxhall's vice president of design Mark Adams and a YouTube video has revealed some of the surprises the car maker has in-store for the coming years.
When it came to the much-awaited Corsa, he said that the new model will take the technology, the powertrains and the appearance to a "new level", which will make the vehicle competitive within its sector once again.
Mr Adams also gave an insight to the improved infotainment features that will be present in the car, as this is an area Vauxhall wants to be known for and associated with.
He added that the new model is not too far away from being rolled out to customers, although he refused to provide an exact date.
The video also put an end to the suggestions the Vauxhall Adam was named after the president of design and he said it was just a happy coincidence.
However, Mr Adams did say he is very proud of the vehicle that bears his name, describing it as "the perfect car for the perfect time".
