Alfa Romeo 4C set for long-awaited US visit
The US market has long awaited the return of Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo, and soon motoring enthusiasts from across the pond will get their wish.
With the New York Auto Show set to begin on April 16th, Alfa will be sending the stunning 4C model over as the prime exhibit.
The model has already proved successful on this side of the Atlantic, wowing fans and experts alike with its gorgeous design and exciting drive.
It was named as What Car? magazine's best car in the 'Reader Award' category and scooped a 'Best Design' award from TopGear magazine.
Elsewhere in Europe, it took the title of 'Most Beautiful Car of the Year 2013' at the 29th International Automobile in France and the 'Importers' sports car of the year by German motoring magazine Auto, Motor und Sport.
Not only is the car pretty, it's powerful too. It packs a new all-aluminium 1750 turbo petrol engine, capable of 240 hp and 350 Nm of torque. This all equates to a top speed of 160 mph and a 0-62 mph time of 4.5 seconds.
It's really not difficult to see why the car is so highly anticipated in the US!
