Alfa Romeo launches new limited edition MiTo Live
Alfa Romeo has launched a strictly limited edition Alfa MiTo Live, with only 250 vehicles set to be built.
Music and safety are the two biggest selling points of the new model, which boasts a custom-engineered BOSE sound system with nine speakers as standard and a five star Euro NCAP safety rating.
Pioneer's ground-breaking AppRadio system is also fitted into the MiTo Live, offering motorists the ability to connect to and access their smartphone's app via a seven-inch touch screen. This means owners of the car are able to access useful features such as maps, photos and their calendar from behind the wheel.
Under the bonnet, the vehicle is powered by an award-winning TwinAir Turbo petrol engine, which provides drivers with an impressive fuel economy of 67.3 mpg and CO2 emissions of just 98g/km. It produces 85 bhp and the highly efficient drivetrain means that the car qualifies for zero road tax and exemption from London's congestion charge.
The Alfa MiTo Live is finished with a wonderful Alfa Red paint that contrasts effectively with a gloss black roof, wing mirrors and door handles. Seventeen-inch titanium Sport alloy wheels are also fitted as standard, complementing the sporty rear bumper, spoiler, carbon look dashboard and titanium grey surrounds on the lights.
"The Alfa MiTo Live limited edition is a true expression of the Alfa Romeo brand – merging exciting technology with driving passion, in this case music. Combining the Pioneer AppRadio with a BOSE sound system delivers one of the best in-car entertainment packages around, at a price point that will appeal to all ages, but especially younger drivers who want to stay connected and entertained on the move," said Damien Dally, head of brand at Alfa Romeo UK.
Drivers may also be able to save money on their car insurance with the Alfa MiTo Live, as it comes fitted with black box telematics insurance from Marmalade as standard. They can get feedback on their drives online and access e-learning modules to enhance their motoring skills.
