Citroen announces seven-seat heaven with Grand C4 Picasso
Large families in the UK will be on cloud nine when they hear that the latest edition of the Grand C4 Picasso will come with space enough for seven, and then some.
Widely known as the top choice for family-based people carrying, the most recent incarnation is set to be the most practical, most versatile and most elegant product offering in the seven-seater format the company has ever released.
Kids in the back won't have to fight for space in the new design, as Citroen has delivered best-in-class interior space in the car, while also showing a truly refreshing and engaging exterior too.
The versatile seats can also be adjusted depending on the needs of the day, allowing for more boot space for trips away or shopping sprees.
Furthermore, parents will also love the fact it produces much less CO2 than its predecessor, with emissions at just 98g/km - an average improvement of 30g/km.
This is achieved through the e-HDi 90 Airdream ETG6 VTR engine that is available in the lowest e-standard model. It means at maximum efficiency, drivers can get up to 74.3mpg.
Emissions are also saved through reduced weight, a much lower centre of gravity and improved design - with the latter also improving driveability, safety and on-board comfort.
However, there are a number of different version available in petrol and diesel, meaning the Picasso can match a variety of driver requirements. It is also available in four distinct trim levels, VTR, VTR+, Exclusive and Exclusive+.
Peace of mind is added through the range of safety equipment featured in the car, including radar guided active cruise control fitted in the front bumper, which ensures cars maintain a constant distance to the car in front, accelerating or braking to achieve this.
Furthermore, it comes with an anti-collision warning system, video lane departure warning system, active seatbelts for the driver and front passenger, intelligent beam headlights, ultrasonic blind spot monitoring and airbags.
