Citroen finds success with Nemo at Business Van awards
The Citroen Nemo has picked up the title of Best City Van at a recent ceremony, with judges praising it for its compact size, high payload and low cost of operation.
Business Vans magazine presented the accolade, with the vehicle called an ideal model for SME businesses who need convenient transportation around built-up areas.
The van comes with a 660kg payload and a 2.5m3 load compartment, which can be extended to 2.8m3 if required.
Furthermore, it was noted as a versatile vehicle to suit both local and long distance requirements. The latter is due to its 62.8mpg capabilities, with CO2 emissions of just 119g/km.
Citroen's head of commercial vehicles and business centre programme Scott Michael said the company is "delighted" with the award.
"This van is ideal for many SME customers - a sector in which Citron has established a major part of its LCV business. In 2013, we saw our LCV volume grow by 25.8 per cent. SMEs were the cornerstone of this growth thanks to the efforts of our dealers and our expanding Business Centre network who work consistently to meet their aftersales and financial requirements,” he added.
