Citroen launches special edition C3 Picasso
Fans of the Citroen C3 Picasso will be among those thrilled at the news that the French carmaker is to release a new special edition.
The firm has announced that the New Year will see the launch of the C3 Picasso Code, which is described as a "stylish new edition" of the award-winning line-up.
Code will replace the Blackcherry model and as such will be based on the best-selling HDi 90 Manual VTR+ version.
The model will be available in four unique colours - Polar White, Cherry Red, Belle Ile Blue and Thorium Grey - and will come with 17-inch 'Clover' alloy wheels.
Those eager to get behind the wheel will also benefit from chrome lower bumper inserts, longitudinal roof bars and shiny black vent surrounds.
A statement from Citroen explained: "The new model's refined and efficient diesel HDi 90 powerplant returns an impressive 61.4mpg on the combined cycle and is eligible for free VED in the first year thanks to its sub-120g/km CO2 emissions.
"The C3 Picasso Code special edition is 'on sale' now priced from £15,695, which is just £300 more than the HDi 90 manual VTR+ version on which it is based."
